    Why do you do CrossFit?
    CrossFit is the first fitness program that I never got bored with or lost interest in. It’s been 8 years and I still love the constantly varied workouts and the support of the community that makes you want to show up everyday!

    Why do you coach CrossFit?
    When I started CrossFit I was so skeptical. But, I showed up everyday, listened to my coaches and watched as my body and mind transformed. My coach truly saved my life.

    I wanted to know as much as possible about the methodology and studied everything CrossFit.

    Once I was able to retire from my full time career, I knew I wanted to make the same impact on others lives, that my coach made on mine. I wanted to teach people how to reclaim their health, and live a full, active, happy life!

    There is nothing more rewarding than showing people that they can accomplish something they never thought they could.

    What is your go-to playlist when coaching a class?
    Warm up - you’re sure to hear some good ole 90’s country!
    Workout - get ready to blast some 80s pop and relive your days at the roller staking rink!

    Why do you do CrossFit?
    Plain and simple, it works if you do! If you put in the work and have decent nutrition habits , you’ll see results. Aside from the obvious health benefits, the CrossFit Community is unmatched. The people I train & workout with are like a second family to me. They motivate & inspire me on a daily basis.

    Why do you coach CrossFit?
    To help people see what their bodies are capable of & to believe in themselves!

    What is your go-to playlist when coaching a class?
    Pretty sure it’s called “80s Hair Bands” Some rock, classic rock, & have been know to play some oldies!

    My go-to playlist is latino music or hip hop!

    Why do you do CrossFit?
    I do CF because I feel the constantly varied high intensity functional movements help keep me prepared to perform my job as a Firefighter. I also believe it keeps me young and active for my kids and will hopefully allow me to have a long and active life in retirement.

    Why do you coach CrossFit?
    I chose to start coaching CF in 2015 so I could share my passion for working out with others no matter where they are in their fitness journey. Leading others from sickness to wellness is rewarding.

    What is your go-to playlist when you coach a class?
    My go to playlist would probably include a lot of classic rock. I do try to gauge my class and cater to them as far as the music selection goes. I like anything that helps motivate people to train as long as it’s clean and appropriate for our family friendly environment.

    I enjoy doing CrossFit because it’s fun to have friendly competition with my friends.

    Why do you coach CrossFit?
    Because I get to help people grow in their fitness!

    What is your go-to playlist when you coach a class?
    My go-to playlist is 2000s pop, but every playlist is different for each class.

    Why do you do CrossFit?
    I CrossFit because it forces me out of my comfort zone in workouts. I come to CFVZ because of the people, and the friendships I have made. People check in on me when I miss a class because they care about me, something I have never had happen at a “normal” gym.

    Why do you coach?
    I coach because I like helping people reach their potential. Teaching someone the basics, and then watching them grow and improve is one of the joys of coaching.

    What is your go-to playlist when you coach a class?
    My playlists run the gamut from classic rock, to pop, to rap, and even a little bit of country. If it has a good pace that keeps you going in the workout then I like listening to it.
